"Dragonflies remind us that we are capable of incredible transformation. They don’t just fly; they adapt, they shimmer, and they find their own way through the wind." - Dr. Kali MacGregor

Meet The Dream Team

pediatric_physical_therapist.JPG

A proud Marquette University alumna, Kali earned both her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy before taking her studies to Belgium to gain a global perspective on movement. With over 17 years of clinical practice, she is now a Board-Certified Specialist in Pediatric PT with advanced certifications in everything from pediatric pelvic floor and torticollis to high-level sports medicine.

St. Pete has been home for nine years, and Kali has fully embraced the salt air and sunshine alongside her husband, Scott. When she isn’t in the clinic, she’s usually boating in Tampa Bay or pushing her limits on the pavement. A true "grit-junkie," she has tackled 16 marathons and nine ultramarathons, including her first 100-miler in 2023. She brings that same "never-quit" energy to every family at Dragonfly, believing every child has the inner wisdom to leave the frustration behind and finally find their stride.

Dr. Kali MacGregor, DPT, ATC/L, PCS

Owner/ Physical Therapist

Meet Dr. Kali

Raised in New Lenox, IL, as the middle of three sisters, Kali’s path to pediatrics began in the trenches of local babysitting and summer camp counseling at 4-H Camp Shaw-Waw-Nas-See. It was there she first witnessed the magic that happens when a child finds their confidence. As a lifelong runner and soccer player, she has always been obsessed with how the body moves—and even more obsessed with keeping young athletes in the game.

Born and raised in sunny St. Petersburg, Florida, Heather grew up active and competitive. In her “former life,” she spent years on the tennis court and even completed multiple races—including two full marathons. These days, her energy is happily redirected into what she calls her “new life”: spending time with her husband, keeping up with her two spunky kids, cheering on her daughter’s softball team, hopping into the pool any chance she gets, and planning the next family vacation.

Whether she’s helping a young athlete return to play or encouraging a toddler through their first big milestone, Heather brings warmth, expertise, and a genuine love for kids to every session. Her goal is simple: to make therapy a place where children feel supported, families feel understood, and progress feels possible.

Dr. Heather Neefe, DPT, CSCS

Pediatric Sports & Orthopedic Specialist

Meet Heather,

Heather brings 17 years of physical therapy experience to the team, with the last 15 devoted to helping pediatric orthopedic and sports patients grow stronger, move confidently, and get back to the activities they love. Her passion for working with kids isn’t something she discovered—it’s something she’s always had. From babysitting as soon as she was old enough, to volunteering at All Children’s Hospital throughout high school, to supporting local sports teams, Heather has spent her life showing up for young people.
